Often attention is paid only to one of these indicators – hemoglobin, which does not reveal the whole picture of deficiencies and does not indicate the degree of iron deficiency anemia, – said the expert.

It is equally important to monitor whether the body has enough zinc. This trace element is important for the normal functioning of sebaceous glands, strengthening hair follicles.

It is also important to check the presence of vitamin D, which actively stimulates hair follicles.
