Also, when your nose is clogged with the flu, it tends to breathe with your mouth, causing excess saliva to escape during sleep.

You may suffer from sleep apnea. The symptoms of sleep apnea are: difficulty sleeping, difficulty breathing, intense snoring or intense drooling. If you have these symptoms, it is better to consult the doctor.
